We designed the Waldo programmatic samples repository to be

• a sample repo to show you the value of waldo scripting
• and a boilerplate to start your own scripting project: just remove the ios or android directory and scripts and you can reuse it

If you want to start from scratch or from an existing WebDriverIO project, the @waldoapp/wdio-service package documentation has installation instructions for each of these cases.
