💬 Connecting Slack to Waldo

It is possible to integrate your Slack organization with Waldo to get notified whenever any new run is complete. Once integrated you will receive Slack notifications with summaries of your results and direct links to the detailed results.

How to connect your Slack organization

It only takes a few steps to integrate Slack with Waldo:

• Go to your integration settings on Webapp (https://app.waldo.com/settings/integrations)
• Click the Connect button.

• This will launch Slack to review the permissions. Click Allow.

• You will be redirected to Waldo and the tag Connected will appear.

Once you added the Slack integration, you can specify which channel you would like to send notifications to through the rules screen. Click on Set up Slack for rules.

This will open the following modal.

Go to the Slack channel you would like to add and invite Waldo.

There you have it! You can now launch a new run and verify that you receive the Slack notification in the selected channel.

You can change the Slack channel associated with a rule at any time.
